Horses in the Sunshine 9th May

Walking through our village at eight o’clock in the morning there are wonderful photo opportunities because the horses are out everywhere! They are so beautiful! There is nothing clompety- clomp about them as they tiptoe around on their long slender legs. They are the supermodels of the horsey world and we are so lucky to have them on our doorstep!

.....and now home to enjoy lovely melon grabbed as I dashed through Tesco’s a few days ago and it is unbelievably sweet. I didn’t break my stride to see where it came from but we shall certainly  be offering our bed and breakfast guests something similar for breakfast later this week! Such succulent melon reminds us of lazy breakfasts in France!
